You can assign own Standard name, Standard name (short) and BOM name to each role. May be this could make sense, if roles are assigned to different projects.

Usually the role-specific definition of Standard name Standard name (short) and BOM name will not be useful but the overall definition under PARTlinkManager -> Extras -> Configure ERP environment [100] used preferably. | |
In the following you find three examples concerning this subject:
Example 1: NB creation is default. (The result is the same without entry.)
Example 2: A condition is used.
If there is no ERP-number available, then the NB (Standard name) creation is default. Otherwise the ERP-number is used.
Example 3: The project version is attached to the Standard name.
The text areas for Standard name (short) and BOM name are selectable by the tabs on the right , as well as Standard name. The editing is analogous to Standard name.
