5.9.2.5.5.  Tabbed page "Menu"

On the Menu tabbed page you can adjust which buttons of the ERP toolbar shall be active. Deactivated buttons are displayed grayed out. Example:

The setting is performed for a certain selected role (here in the following figure exemplarily LOCRED1).

  • Use these settings

If you don't choose this option, then all buttons are activated; otherwise the activation is according the detailed selection.

  • Allow manual logout

  • Allow group change

  • Allow start of PARTlinkManager

  • Allow transaction to PARTlinkManager

  • Allow sending of e-mail

  • Allow insert of line in database

  • Filters in the parts selection can be enabled/disabled

    As of version 9.08 this option is not needed anymore, because it is also controlled via function Preferred rows on/off.

  • Show legend

  • Allow to classify parts

Special case: The 4th and 5th buttons (Send selection to Link Manager / Cancel selection) are only selectable, if PARTdataManager has been called via PARTlinkManager, with the intention to create a link.

Whether a button shall be displayed in general is displayed in PARTlinkManager under Extras menu -> Configure ERP environment -> dialog box Configure tabbed page PARTdataManager preferences section Login mode. On this see under Section 5.9.1.3.3.2.2.1, “ Login mode ”.
