6.8.9.2. Mark parts to be avoided

[Note] Note

As of V10 the marking of parts/lines to be avoided happens by an own variable CNSAVOID in the characteristic attribute table.

Control by the configuration file $CADENAS_DATA/datasetup/avoid_parts.cfg is not used anymore!

Marked lines are displayed with the respective icon in PARTdataManager, in the characteristic attribute table. You can enable or disable the function via toolbar icon .

Default is enabled so that all project lines are displayed.

If you disable the function, lines with icon are hidden.

  1. Create the standard variable CNSAVOID in PARTeditor, in the table.

    PARTeditor -> Variable Manager -> Standard variables

    PARTeditor -> Variable Manager -> Standard variables

  2. By default, set the value 0 for all lines. For lines (parts) to be avoided set the value 1.

  3. Hide the column CNSAVOID for the PARTdataManager view.

    Therefor make sure that there are no assignments to any group.
