  • Material name from material.cfg

For PARTsolutions without ERP integration this is the standard variant.

In order for a "virtual" column "CNSMAT" for the material selection to be displayed in the table, you must activate the option Show material selection under PARTdataManager -> Extras -> Preferences -> Table.

The translation names come from the material.def.

  • Material name from the table

    [Note] Note

This variant is not especially recommended (for the sake of completeness it is still mentioned however), since for catalog updates information from additionally added columns can get lost.

In the following exemplary figure, the additional column, which has been applied for the material, is called "MAT_X".

Via PARTdataManager -> menu Table -> Edit -> dialog page Create tables -> tab page Table you can enter the material.

    [Note] Note

In order for the CNS classification to use the proper column make the respective adjustments under PARTadmin -> Category -> Configuration files -> $CADENAS_SETUP -> if<cadname>.cfg -> block CreationOptions(is3d) -> key Material.[a]
