1.5. How can I select a CAD format? | How can I define the hand-over mode into the CAD system?

Under 3D CAD CATALOGS you have the possibility to choose CAD formats and to define the handing over mode in the CAD system.

Make sure that your are in the dialog area 3D CAD CATALOGS.
On the right side under Actions, click on Edit CAD formats.

-> The following dialog area shows up:
- Generation options (Level of Detail)
- Selected Formats (Add CAD formats)
Define the Level of Detail.

Note

The setting refers to the CAD model.

The display in the 3D view is always "high".
Click on Add CAD formats.

-> The settings area for Generation type and Format selection opens.

First determine the desired generation type. Click into the desired option field.

Note

You can define own formats for each generation type.
- Direct integration into CAD system
  
  The direct integration (PART2cad) simplifies the download of the CAD models. These are then quickly and directly loaded into the CAD system. The temporary saving of data is thus omitted.
  
  Note
  
  Only one format selection is possible in this mode.
- CAD models to download
  
  After generation, the CAD models are available in the Download CAD models area.
- CAD models sent per e-mail
  
  The CAD models are sent per e-mail immediately after generation.
Note

In the Format selection area , the formats possible for the selected mode are displayed.
Select a format or several formats. By holding down the CTRL key, you can make multiple selections. .

Note

Max. 10 formats (in total for all generation types) is possible.
Click on Save.

-> The view changes back to the dialog area Generation options / Selected formats.

In the dialog area Selected formats you can see your current selection.
