7.11.15.  Save as CSV file

You have the possibility to store a table as CSV file.

  1. Above the table or in the File menu, you can find the command Save as CSV file.

    -> The dialog box Write CSV file is opened.

  2. Determine a storage location for the CSV file (full path!).

  3. Determine, which parts (Header, Variables) shall be taken and how the Layout of lines should look like.

    [Important] Important

    Later at import, Header data and Layout of lines have to be specified in the same way as at export, otherwise the CSV file cannot correctly be read.

    Header:

    • Variable names: compare Variable Manager -> column Name

    • Unit of the variable: compare Variable Manager -> column Unit

    • Variable description: compare Variable Manager -> column Description

    • Data format of variables: compare Variable Manager -> column D

    • Standard number, Standard text and Standard name can be found under Identification data.

  4. Confirm by clicking OK.

    -> The CSV file is generated.

    When omitting the Variables „LOD“ and „FS“ (no checkmark), the CSV file is reduced accordingly.
