1.4.2. License Types

The following license codes are used for the licensing.

License abbreviation Description
S

Single/Nodelocked: A license for a certain single workstation, licensed on the HOST ID at authorized locations

For information on how to handle a Single workstation license please see under Section 1.4.3, “ Clients ”.

D

Named User: Nodelocked licenses which are distributed as real Floating licenses by a FLM server, namely for dedicated users (Named-User), licensed on the User ID (e.g. Windows login), at authorized locations. The USER ID is registered when connecting with the licensed software at the first time. The number of active sessions may not exceed the number of registered users.

Floating: Licenses which are distributed by a FLM server.

COMP Company License for a company in a country (several locations)
SITE Company License for multiple locations within a Radius of 30 Km
ENTERPRISE Company License for a worldwide consolidated company

Licenses for educational purposes (for noncommercial use)

License shortcut Description
S-UNIV Node locked License for universities and students; licensed for a single workstation on the HOST ID. The number of active sessions may not exceed the number of registered users.
UNIV License server with 100 users, for a university at a certain location - Campus license
