For terminals often the concept of "equivalent potentials/names" is found. This describes the case of several connections connected with one another.
In the CNS Classification, this is handled in the class CNS_CP|4|3 (Electrical Connection) with the attributes Identifier and Connection Name Equivalences (German: Verbindungsname Äquivalenzen).
Precondition for classifying is that connection points are already set for the respective connections.
In the following the procedure is described for the Weidmüller Terminal 1690000000.
Each connection gets a unique ID under Identifier (e.g. "EC_01.01").
Each connection gets an entry with the IDs of equivalent connections under Connection Name Equivalences (Ger.: Verbindungsname Äquivalenzen.
Let's have a look on the connection with „EC_01.01“. This is equivalent to the connections with Identifier „EC_01.04“, „EC_01.03“ and „EC_01.02“.
Line Identifier gets following entry:
EC_01.01
Line Connection Name Equivalences gets following entry:
EC_01.04||EC_01.03||EC_01.02
In order for the correct electrical symbol to be assigned, under Connection EclassSymbolMap following entry has to be set:
E00145||1||2 (or E00145||2||2, E00145||2||1, E00145||1||1)
The following figure shows the respective symbol of E00145||1||2.
The following figure shows a table with CAx functional symbols. (stored CADENAS internally in the Excel table eCl@ss CAx_Funktionssymbole 24.02.2018.xlsx).
In PARTdataManager, you can find the classification attributes under Part information and in the labels of 3D view.
