The OpenRC Truggy, A experimental 3D Printed R/C car

Posted by Daniel Norée
"The OpenR/C Truggy" started in 2012 as a open source project to showcase 3dprinting capabilities on "RepRap" 3Dprinters but totally got out of hand. Several hundered hours spent on development so far and breaking of more parts than i can count but it´s still worth it! A community (on Google +) also grew out of this and has become a great source for further development and support aswell as a platform for other projects. Printed materials used in the car in the video includes ABS, Nylon, TPE (NinjaFlex), Polycarbonate, tritan and PCTPE. Most parts are 3Dprinted including tires, rims, diffs, gears, inner driveshafts and many, many more. Parts NOT printed: screws, bearings, Stainless steel pins, CVD's, body and electronics. Thanks to everyone supporting me in this project, without you none of this would have been possible. Music: ""Millionaire"" by Queens of the Stone Age Video by Daniel Norée Filmed by family, friends and me. Daniel Norée I honestly don´t know. I was printing parts continuesly for like a year so it´s hard to guess how long it  would take to print one set of parts for one car. =)
