When inserting from PARTsolutions the parts are made known during first use in the PLM system. The PLM system transfers the data of the standard/supplier part and takes it up in its management.

The parts can be selected via the PLM system as well as previously via PARTsolutions. If the part is already being managed in the PLM system, it is used from a new selection from the PLM system in PARTsolutions.

Via configurable file properties, meta data, such as description, manufacturer and order number, can be evaluated for subsequent processes such as for example CAD BOM-lists.
