Parts management productive (without database)

Users who already have a database and would like to manually connect PARTsolutions to it, should select in the dialog PARTsolutions parts management the option Parts management productive (without database). Database drivers for Oracle and MS-SQL Server are selected in the next step.

PARTsolutions parts management

Use the script provided for your database (see Section 5.2.3.1, “Installations script ”) and adjust it accordingly.

	Note
	The instance names of the LinkDB can be selected as desired (recommendation PLINKDB). In addition, you must pay attention to the fact that exactly the same name is to be entered when setting up the ODBC/JDBC driver and also in PARTlinkManager under Extras -> Configure ERP environment -> tab page Database -> Database-> Name (see Fig. „Tab page "Database"“).

Apply the necessary tables in their database using SQL commands.
