After the update installation you can find further helpful information in the PARTlinkManager looking at the values in the columns ACTIVE_STATE and REQUESTED_STATE.

Via columns "ACTIVE_STATE" and "REQUESTED_STATE" you get notes at which projects an automatic mapping was possible.

  • Column PSOL Project:

    The datasets of the old version can be identified in the columnPSOL Project by the version number in project name. The current version does not have version numbers in the name.

  • Column Active status:

    At the old projects, before editing "Released" is still displayed in the Update Manager.

    At the current projects, before editing "Locked" is still displayed in the Update Manager.

  • Column Requested status:

    At the old projects, "Expired" is displayed.

    At the current projects, before editing "Updated" is still displayed in the Update Manager.

Datasets which could be mapped (the mapping information is to be understood as a proposal and is not yet a release!) are displayed twice in PARTlinkManager in the column PSOL Project.

Datasets which could not be mapped are displayed once as old version with version number.

Older versions are marked with a timestamp in the PARTlinkManager, in the column PSOL Project. The higher the number, the newer the version. The current version has no timestamp.

You can hide the old versions via icon .

[Tip] Tip

Adjust the column display in PARTlinkManager.

Under Extras menu -> Configure ERP environment, set desired, helpful columns like VARSET visible or move them forward with pressed mouse key.

Background information on the workflow of values in the columns Active State and Requested State.

These value changes are generally applied, independent of the project changes in particular.

  • Before executing the command Approve assignment:

     

    Old dataset

    New dataset

    Active State Released

    Locked
    Requested State Expired

    Updated

  • After executing the command Approve assignment:

     

    Old dataset

    New dataset

    Active State Expired

    Released
    Requested State Expired

    Updated

Value changes become visible in Update manager, in PARTlinkManager and also in PARTdataManager at once.
