Frequently, individual part drawings are combined in one DIN standard group, i.e. these drawings feature similar or identical line styles and font types. The File structure field contains the Clamp entry option so that the same settings do not need to be made for each part in a very large file structure for instance.

This means, that if you activate this option, the various settings need to be made in one file only and these are then automatically applied to the remaining files in the directory.

This option can be activated via context menu by clicking with the secondary mouse button on a directory contained in the File structure field.

You can cancel the clamping function again with the Remove pinning option in the context menu.
