8.5.2.2.4.1.  Standard variables

It's easy to add Standard variables to the table.

Standard variables with identification type Geometry attribute are for example:

  • CNSDENSITY (Density)

  • CNSMASSEXACT (Mass)

  • CNSVOLUMNEEXACT (Volume)

  • CNSMAT (Material)

Standard variable with identification type Object attribute is for example:

  • CNSORDERNO (order number)

[Note] Note

When exporting the part into the CAD system later, the respective Standard variables are found in the CAD system, in the file properties.

[Note] Note

You can also transfer the Standard variable CNSORDERNO via CNS classification into the CAD system. On this see Section 4.8.2.4, “ Variables ” (Variable with order number).

In order to insert Standard variables into the table, proceed as follows:

  1. Click on the button Standard variables.

-> The respective dialog box opens.

    Dialog box "Standard variables"

    Dialog box "Standard variables"

  2. Activate the variables, which you want to overtake and confirm with OK.

-> Now the respective Standard variables are displayed in the list.

  3. Close the dialog box Variable Manager by clicking on Ok.

-> Now the respective Standard variables are displayed in the table.

    Dialog box "Standard variables"

    Dialog box "Standard variables"

Alternative concept

Instead of applying Standard variables in the table, you can apply the same variables as Class variables.

Dialog box "Class variables"

Dialog box "Class variables"

On this see Section 4.8.2.5.1, “CNS classification and attributes ”.
