7.9.3.8.1.  Move selection

Move sketch element with the help of a vector or copy it n-times with simultaneously pressed Ctrl key.

  1. Select the sketch element to be moved.

    -> The element is marked in pink.

  2. Click on the button Move selection .

  3. Position the shift vector by clicking at the desired start and end point.

    --> Element is moved according to length and direction of vector.

    --> The Change parameter dialog box is opened.

  4. In the dialog box, possibly adjust vector coordinates and thus position element exactly.

Copy selection (several identical holes for example):

  1. Select the element to be copied.

    -> The element is marked in pink.

  2. Click on the button Move selection .

  3. Press the Ctrl key simultaneously and specify the shift vector by clicking on the desired start and end point.

  4. In the Change parameter dialog box, specify the number of copies and the vector coordinates.

  5. Confirm with OK.

    -> The result is displayed.

    In this example a circle is copied three times and each time shifted by the x-value of 15 and y-value of 0
