Our 3D CAD supplier models have been moved to 3Dfindit.com, the new visual search engine for 3D CAD, CAE & BIM models.
You can log in there with your existing account of this site.
The content remains free of charge.
Settings can be
dealt with administratively in the pdetailopt.cfg
file.
Note | |
---|---|
The configuration file contains deactivated sample values for the CATALOGS, DIRECTORIES and PROJECTS blocks. |
You can set the Level of Detail at the CATALOG, DIRECTORIES and PROJECTS level separately.
Activate and modify the necessary keys in PARTadmin in the CATALOGS, DIRECTORIES and PROJECTS blocks.
Under CATALOGS with high numbering CAT1, CAT2, etc.; under DIRECTORIES DIR1, DIR2, etc.; under PROJECTS PRJ1, PRJ2,etc.
For not further specified catalogs, directories and projects, the "DEFAULT" key applies. Select the desired value HIGH, MED or LO.
All 3 Levels of Detail will be exported (according to the requirements of the respective CAD-interface) - as long as they are supported by the CAD-System - otherwise level 'HI' will be exported.
Please see other settings options in the following Tabelle:
Providing that no configurations in PARTdesigner were set automatically or manually, the "HI_AUTO", "MED_AUTO" and "LO_AUTO" keys will be used as CONFIGNAMES and will be shown in 3D view in the PARTdataManager.
As soon as configurations are set, the "HI", "MED" and "LO" keys will be used.
The keys in the
pdetailopt.cfg
file
contain sample data see figure above and the following
tabulation). If required,
activate the key and adjust the data according to your needs.
Up to and including PARTsolutions Version 8.1.05, the Level of Detail was always, independent of administrative settings, exported as "HIGH" during the export of neutral formats and the 2D derivation.
In Version 8.1.06, the export of neutral formats and the 2D derivation is conducted analogously with the 3D export of native CAD formats.
