Our 3D CAD supplier models have been moved to 3Dfindit.com, the new visual search engine for 3D CAD, CAE & BIM models.
You can log in there with your existing account of this site.

Search for greatest, middle and smallest dimension of a part.
Or search for the dimension in the direction of X-, Y and Zaxis.
Perform this search with relatively high tolerance, since values can differ quite a bit due to different quality (triangulation) of parts to compare.
With this function you can search for symmetries: Once for the type and in the list field with the possibility of differentiation according to "symmetric", "nearly symmetric" and "not symmetric".
With this function you can search for angles between two planes. Decisive is always the inner angle.
With this function you can search for material thickness. This function makes sense when searching for semi-finished products for example.
With this function you can search for inner and outer cones. In the following you see the single parameters with the help of two little examples:
With this function you can search for a curved slot.
Amount: The curved slots can appear at any position and don't have to form a pattern. If the curved slots are arranged as pattern, you can also search with the Curved Slot Pattern function.
Angle: The angle is calculated from the slot's circular arc segment without the slot's rounding at the beginning and end.
Diameter: Distance from the middle of the width of a curved slot to the center of the circle times 2
With this function you can search for internal and external tori.
Amount: You can search for a certain number of tori (with or without distinction of internal or external tori; see next point)
Minor Diameter: Under Topology information, displayed as parameter D1 (both at Torus External and Torus Internal [compare figures above])
Major Diameter: Under Topology information, displayed as parameter D2 (both at Torus External and Torus Internal [compare figures above])
With this function you can search for a Rectangular Slot Pattern.
With this function you can search for a curved slot pattern.
Diameter: Distance from the middle of the width of a curved slot to the center of the circle times 2
Angle: Angle between adjacent pattern elements (in following figure 30°), for a complete pattern this results in 12 positions)
Hole angle: The angle is calculated from the slot's circular arc segment without the slot's rounding at the beginning and end.
