In the following example, a key is to be inserted in order to assign the PARTsolutions attributes a prefix.

Under PARTadmin -> Category -> PARTsolutions -> Configuration files -> $CADENAS_SETUP -> ifacad.cfg open the block AttributeMapping(is2d).

Insert key
Insert a key (see also Section 1.7.1.4.3, “Editing blocks, keys and key values”).

Key name is: Attr_Prefix_<numerical value of the respective block>

The key value is the prefix.
Save the settings in PARTadmin.
Export the part to AutoCAD.

-> All PARTsolutions attributes now receive the prefix (in this example "CNS_").
