At the project level, the dialog in the context menu contains another subdirectory with a possible status.

In below example, role "Editor" can only set status 1,2,3 coming from status 5.

Set the desired status.

Then select the fitting description in the dialog window "Comment"!

For example: "QA level was set up".

Confirm with OK.
