RoHS stands for the Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS serves to restrict the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. This internal market directive applies to all EU member states.

Once the attribute is set, in PARTdataManager (currently not yet in PCOM), the RoHS icon is displayed.
