Duplicate row can be used advantageously if there are many similarities in rows. Then only a few cells have to be adjusted.

You can also mark and duplicate several rows at once.

Result: The respective duplicate is inserted below the original row.

With the arrow key beside the button, you can open the dialog Duplicate row. Here you have other options available. You can create any Amount of duplicates and you have the two options Insert above original line and Insert below selection.

The following examples shall clarify the functioning:

Example 1:

Selection of one row and 3 duplicates. If there is only one original row, the selection of Insert above original line or Insert below selection doesn't matter.

Result: The duplicates are inserted below the selected original row.

Example : Row 5 has been selected - Result: Three duplicates of row 5 are inserted
