9.5.1.1.2.2. Type
  • Fast rebuild

    Basically you can activate this function.

    However the following warning notice always shows up:

    PARTdataManager

    If you save with the option 'Fast rebuild', then there will be no checks for accuracy while loading. This affects for e.g. changes in the configuration, back links and assembly tables. Back links will not be checked after loading either. Continue?

    Yes No

    [Warning] Warning

    Use only variables from the same branch!

    In this example P4 is able to take variables from P3, P2 and A. P4 may not ask for Variables from P5 for example.

    To ask for variables means using them in terms, translation, rotation, domain assignment, etc.

    If these prerequisites are not met, then do not use this feature!

    If there are problems with the building of an assembly, check if it is possible to avoid the error by deactivating the check box.

  • Append free connection points automatically

    • Assembly-Table-Project

      This feature does not concern the Assembly-Table-Project since clarity is warranted in the steering table anyway. However the stencil, which is the basis for the Assembly-Table-Project, should have been created in the below mentioned way.

    • Assembly-configuration and template

      Prerequisite for the use of the option: Conditions ensure that there is only 1 row available per connection part.

      There is no damage, if the option is activated, even though the terms are not met; but an automatic buildup is then impossible!

      Procedure:

      1. Save configuration:

        Configuration built

        Configuration built

        Initial situation: A specific set-up of the configuration (see figure).

        In the menu window Assembly properties do not activate any of the checkboxes.

        The option Append free connection points automatically especially, may not be activated!

        Equally, the magic stick (build assemblies automatically) may not be activated!

        Save the configuration in this state!

      2. Save template:

        Delete all parts, except for the starting part! (This can also be a dummy.)

        Configuration only with starting part

        Configuration only with starting part

        Save the template in this state!

      3. Again, Save configuration:

        This time with n activated checkbox Append free connection points automatically.

      This approach must be followed very closely!

  • Resolve pattern recursive

  • Forbid deletion of parts

    [Note] Note

    As of V11 only displayed at old assemblies which already used this feature. Not to be used for new creation.

    Concerns assembly configuration and templates. With the Assembly-Table-Project there is no access to the single parts, since these are controlled by the table.

    Delete - grayed out

    Delete - grayed out

    After activation, the corresponding context menu item is grayed out.

  • Merge to one part upon export

    [Note] Note

    As of V11 only displayed at old assemblies which already used this feature. Not to be used for new creation.

    Is currently only supported by Inventor. The interpretation can be found in CAD.

    extended attributes -> PSOL_MULTISOLIDPART
    0: Zu einem Teil verschmelzen
    1: Als Baugruppe exportieren
    z.B.
    EXTATTRVAL{
    NAME{ "PSOL_MULTISOLIDPART" }
     VALUE{ 0 }
    }

  • Invalidate changed tables even if the chosen line is still available.

    [Note] Note

    As of V11 only displayed at old assemblies which already used this feature. Not to be used for new creation.

    (Only important for the compatibility with Version 7.4)

  • Export single part assemblies as single parts

    [Note] Note

    As of V11 only displayed at old assemblies which already used this feature. Not to be used for new creation.

    In case the assembly is comprised solely of one part, it will be exported as a single part.
