3.1.7.1.11.4. Use preferred rows filter

If a certain column is specified as preferred rows column, when clicking on Preferred rows on/off , only those rows are shown, which have an entry in that column. Mostly this is the column for article number (ERP number).^[74]

	Note
	Row numbers are retained when filtering the table, so that you can always see the filter state of the table. If in above example, the two rows would be the only ones, row numbers 1 and 2 would be displayed, however, here, 5 and 6.

^[74]With ERP integration, normally the preferred row is specified via role settings (on this see Section 4.12.2.1, “ Tabbed page "General" ” in PARTsolutions / PARTcommunity4Enterprise - Administration Manual.

If no administrative settings have been made, you have the possibility to determine the variable for the preferred row under Extras -> Preferences... -> Table -> Variable for preferred rows (see Section 3.3.2, “ "Table" tabbed page ”).
