  • Union

    Highlights the union of both parts.

    Visualizes the part areas where the parts are different.

  • Missing volume

    The screenshots on the right show the missing volume, first from the point of view of object 1, and then of object 2.

    Select reference part with the 1 and 2 button.

  • Spare volume

    The pictures on the right show the spare volume first from the point of view of object 1, then of object 2.

    Select reference part with the 1 and 2 button.

  • Distance coloring

    Geometric differences are clarified by color:

    Green: Surfaces of the compared parts are nearly on each other.

    Red: Volume of the compared part is less than the volume of reference part.

    Blue: Volume of the compared part is larger than the volume of reference part.

    Via ... the Color gradient settings dialog box opens.

    If you would like to change the default display, check ext. color gradient. Select linear, exponential or polynomial in the pull-down menu and adjust the desired Sensitivity with the slider.
