In SolidWorks, NX and Solid Edge the Level of Detail can be selected directly in the CAD. So, if desired, the Level of Detail can be determined for the export.
Information about individual specification of the LOD (possibly different depending on special catalogs, directories and projects) can be found under Section 2.2.8.6, “ Block [LOD] - Level of Detail ” in PARTsolutions / PARTcommunity4Enterprise - Administration Manual.
If no special defaults have been made in PARTdesigner, the calculation of a Level of Detail is automatically processed for each setting in PARTdataManager.
