5.1.7.1. ERPsolutions/db lite

In case the customer already has 5 or more CADENAS licenses, this module is available free of charge.

This module contains the following functionalities:

  • PARTlinkManager ― Administration tool for all ERP relevant data[66]

    • Display and changes of datasets in the LinkDB (in the LinkDB you can find all information about the connection concerning part allocation to ERP master data)

    • Configuration of PARTsolutions ERP environment

    • Adjustment of visual display of data in the PARTsolutions environment (example: different coloring for individual rows according to condition)

    • New application of DB fields in the LinkDB

    • Dataset export and import via CSV file

  • PARTadmin ― Configuration tool for PARTsolutions and administration tool for roles and users (restricted functionality)

    • System settings for PARTsolutions may be made

  • PARTsolutions Plug-Ins ― Extension for PARTsolutions, to integrate ERP functionalities in all program parts.[67]

    • Additional function bar in PARTdataManager

    • Additional columns with ERP- information in attribute tables

    • New processes possible, for example to apply for ERP numbers

  • Database scripts ― Predefined scripts for creating the LinkDB, which can be used with PARTsolutions.[68]

    • Currently available for Oracle, MS SQL, DB/2 and SAP DB

Restrictions:

  • Operation only possible at one location.

  • Maximum 2 columns with ERP master data can be displayed in PARTsolutions.

    (Expansions for attributes are possible, for each extra attribute 500 EUR are billed. See Section 5.1.7.6, “ERPsolutions/attribute enhancement”.)

  • No roles and users may be applied.

  • For roles and individual users no extensive display filters may be set (preferred rows, hiding of certain parts and columns, export restrictions, application of new rows, part number requests, etc.).

  • For roles and individual users no rights may be assigned (preferred rows, hiding of certain parts and columns, export restrictions, application of new rows, part number requests, etc.).

The module is independent of the CAD interface used.
