3.4.5. Launching PARTadmin

If you import the FLM server from a separate license sever, there is usually no PARTsolutions installation available. However since you need PARTadmin, this module was installed along with the FLM installation.

Open PARTadmin via the Start menu, in both cases:

Start -> All Programs -> License -> License administration (FLM server management)

Background information: In the installation path of the CADENAS FLM server (for example, C:\cadenas_flm) you will see the file `start.env`. Please note! Although the environment variables of the FLM server have the same name as in the PARTsolutions installation, they point to different directories! [ENVIRONS] CADENAS=%DirOfThisFile% CADENAS_SETUP=%ALLUSERSPROFILE%/cadenas_flm/partsolutions/setup CADENAS_DEFAULTUSER=$CADENAS_SETUP/user/default_user CADENAS_USER=%APPDATA%/cadenas_flm The imported FLM license can thus be found on the CADENAS FLM server, for example, under `C:\ProgramData\cadenas_flm\partsolutions\setup\lic\keys`. If you want to copy the license yourself, please pay attention to the correct path. Storage location of node-locked licenses in contrast, is located in the PARTsolutions installation under `%cadenas_setup%`!
