In the following you will see an example how you can work with templates in the PARTdataManager.
In contrast to the configuration, the template assembly (file format *.sbl)completely, or at least, partially, has an automatic generation. In the Assembly the Start element and the connecting assembly parts (see Fig. „Templates with complete self-assembly“) show up immediately. |
|
Templates with complete self-assembly are able to configure themselves 100% alone.
There are no longer any free (green) connection points. All connection points are displayed in black lettering.
Single elements can be removed, or (if available) replaced by alternative characteristics
After a row change, the template reassembles itself completely.
Templates with partial self-assembly have a certain basic structure with which the generate themselves. Some Connection points are still open (green) and may be occupied by pre-generated elements. This template variant shows a mix between configuration and full template. It may be changed and/or reduced.
Fixed template: It assembles itself 100% alone, however -in contrast to other template types - it can neither be changed nor reduced.
