7.14.4.3. Formula optimizer tabbed page

In PARTdesigner, variables are used which, in turn, are normally components of formulae. The formulae of complex designs are, in turn, very extensive so that syntax errors or superfluous characters for instance may creep in. Such formulae can be “cleaned up” using various optimization methods.

	Note
	Particularly in the case of frequent mirroring and rotation of a part, it is advisable to use the Formula optimizer. Otherwise, terms would be prolonged with every action and could thus reach the maximum permitted number of characters of 256.
