3.1.5.1. General notes

  • Field separator / Text separator

    You can define field separators and text separators for the content of text files in the configuration file classimport.cfg:

    For the default setting applies:

    Field separator is the semicolon.

    Text separator is the quotation mark. Quotation marks in the text have double quotes.

    Insert the Company key in PARTproject -> Edit project -> General1 -> Company key analogously the declaration in the configuration file classimporter.cfg. See above.

    You can find the path to the respective TAB file under PARTproject -> Edit project -> General1 -> Preview.

  • Define sorting

    • PARTproject -> Edit project -> General1 index page-> Sorting of the directory -> Define sorting (selection in the list field)

      Click on the field and select the option Define sorting in the list field.

    • Under PARTproject -> Project selection select the directory, for which (including subdirectories) you want to define the sorting. Click on the Sort directory context menu command.

      -> The Sequence dialog box opens.

    • In the Sequence dialog box select the directory to be moved and change the sequence via arrow keys.

    • Save the changes in PARTproject.

    • Update the index in PARTadmin. See Section 1.3.8.6.2, “Context menu commands in detail ” in PARTsolutions / PARTcommunity4Enterprise - Administration Manual.
