3.1.6.4.2.5. Full-text search supplemented with synonyms

If Search for synonym is activated, then the synonym database is automatically searched based on the inserted keyword. A tooltip appears with supplemental terms.

	Note
	The evaluation of found synonyms is the same as for the inserted search term. In order to find the synonyms in the synonym database, the exact same spelling is crucial. With scrambled letters (blot) or empty spaces (b o l t), the synonyms based on bolt cannot be found.

The synonym database can be enhanced be administration anytime. On this see under Section 1.8, “ PARTsynonym ” in PARTsolutions / PARTcommunity4Enterprise - Administration Manual.
