Migrate geometrical index to V9v2:

You have updated PARTsolutions V9 form version <= 9.07 to version >= 9.08.

Now you want to use the new index of the version 9.08 for your catalogs. The new search index provides a significantly accelerated search speed. Therefor activate the desired checkbox Migrate geometrical index to V9v2.

A detailed description of the migration procedure is found under Section 1.1.3.3.4.2, “Conversion of the Geometry Index from V9 to V9v2”.

Note New installed CADENAS catalogs already have the new index. For these you don't have to perform a migration.

Convert search index from V8 to V9: (The base index is meant here.)

We recommend the generation of a new index. The only disadvantage contrary to migration is the time exposure, what only becomes important at a high number of catalogs.

Note For migrated V8 catalogs there is the following restriction: The full-text search cannot be used. That's why migration only makes sense for own and native part catalogs. All catalogs provided by CADENAS contain the latest indices, so there is no necessity for migration.
