Our 3D CAD supplier models have been moved to 3Dfindit.com, the new visual search engine for 3D CAD, CAE & BIM models.

According to the notes from PARTlinkManager, column ACTIVE_STATE and REQUESTED_STATE in a second step the projects "project3.prj", "project5.prj", "project6.prj" and "project7.prj" are edited in the Update manager. At these projects no mapping had been successful.
Via columns "ACTIVE_STATE" and "REQUESTED_STATE" you get notes at which projects an automatic mapping was possible.
In the Update Manager an empty column New dataset is shown.
For datasets, which could not be mapped, use the search function and look for:
At project 3 no mapping had been possible. This can be seen from the fact that the column New dataset is empty and no table is displayed. In the index tree the icon with the red x is displayed, which signalizes a dataset which could not be mapped.
As long as the project name has only been adjusted slightly, the relation between old and new project can possibly be seen.
But what if this check is not successful?
-> The dialog box Search opens.
Select the tabbed page Search and there the tabbed page Text and variables.
Enter variables and values of the old dataset.
Possibly also try search terms under Keyword. If you know an order number which is shown in any column, you can also search with this.
Double-click on the desired search result.
-> The values are inserted under New dataset. (If you double-clicked on project level you possibly have to adjust the table line.)
Proceed with the other project lines in the same way.
Confirm the assignment by clicking on the green checkmark .
-> The respective confirmation message appears.
Furthermore a green checkmark is displayed in the index tree on the edited project line.
Likewise, at project 5 there was no mapping possible. This can be seen from the fact that the column New dataset is empty and no table is displayed. In the index tree the icon with the red x is displayed, which signalizes a dataset which could not be mapped.
Another option to find the appropriate dataset is to open the new index tree parallel to the old index tree and to search via the directory structure.
Double-click on the appropriate project.
(Here in the example the appropriate project can easy be seen by the Standard number [Projekt5 NEW - Projekt5].)
-> The values of the standard line are inserted in the column New dataset (or Selected dataset).
Confirm the assignment by clicking on the green checkmark . Proceed in the same way with the other project lines.
