For editing the keys under PARTadmin -> Category -> PARTsolutions -> CAD integration (simple mode) you only need basic syntax knowledge. Usually a default value is entered which you then only need to adjust accordingly.
Note | |
---|---|
In the simple mode[33] You may however only change the default value Behind the display text there is often a complex VB expression. If red markings appear in the following examples, then only these parts of the expression may be changed. Complex changes can be made in the mode with expanded key display. All possibilities of adjusting the key you have under PARTadmin -> Category -> PARTsolutions -> Configuration files -> $CADENAS_SETUP -> if<cad name>.cfg. See Section 2.1.2, “User interface for Category "Configuration files" ”. |
default_dec_places=8
Attributes may be applied in different ways:

This kind of displaying variables is only available in Attribute Mapping. You may change the default value to any other constant. |
<ATTR(NB)>
If there are several constants indicated in an attribute, especially when text and attributes are mixed, the used form is this:
<ATTR(NN)> - <ATTR(NT)>
Note | |

You may change the red marked constants or the text outside of the angle brackets. Leave the rest of the display text. |
Note | |

Which constants are generally available can be found under Section 7.1, “Constants, Functions, Operators, mathematical expressions ”. |
Note | |

Changes which go further than the above described please perform in the expanded mode (see Section 2.1.1.3, “Mode: "Simple" or "Expanded"”) or under PARTadmin -> Category -> Configuration files (see Section 2.1.2, “User interface for Category "Configuration files" ”). |
