What is a challenge?
It is our goal to increase the exchange of knowledge among engineers of our portal PARTcommunity. As a benefit for our active community members we have created several challenges together with the support of numerous component manufacturers, which are awarded with interesting prizes.
How does it work?
Follow the description and tasks of the respective engineering challenge. Post your contribution together with a photo or screenshot to the defined section within the PARTcommunity portal. After the process is finished an independent jury will figure out the winner and notify him.

Let your creative side flow through your 3D models and take part in our XMAS challenge. Amazon gift vouchers totalling 500 Euro are waiting for you so that you can fulfil your own Christmas wishes.
Everyday there is a new challenge to be conquered. Show us and the entire PARTcloud.net Community your funny, creative, eccentric or just plain useful 3D model that beats the challenge.
What do I have to do?
Simply log yourself in with your PARTcommunity login details www.partcloud.net and share your 3D models:
- Have a look at our Christmas tree to see which daily challenge awaits. Open that days challenge where you will be connected further to find more information.
- Click on the link that is found by the daily challenge. This is to make sure that your model will be uploaded to the right category. Only models that are in the correct category can be in with a chance to win.
- Give a name to your 3D model.
- Write a short description to go along with your model that will be published later together with your model.
- By default models are uploaded with the „Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International“ licensing. If you would like to restrict access and usage to your model then change to one of the other Creative Commons licensing.

Everyday there is the chance to win an Amazon gift voucher from a total value of all prizes equalling 500 Euro.

How will I know if I’ve won?
At the end of every day, we will select the best 3D model that meets the daily challenge and gathers the most likes from the community. If there are multiple 3D models with the same amount of likes, then the winner will be whichever from them has the most views.
The winner will be contacted by email through the address they entered into their PARTcommunity account. Those who cannot be reached by the provided email will forfeit their win.
Period of Participation
The PARTcloud.net XMAS Challenge 2016 runs from 01.12. - 24.12.2016.
Who is allowed to take part?
Eligible participants are those who are a PARTcommuinity user. By uploading, you are agreeing to our conditions of participation.
