1.1. Overview

PLMsynchro is a standard product for the creation of own part catalogs from CAD, PLM and ERP data.
Once the data import happens initially. Then during a nightly (for example) data synchronization data changes at article master, class structure, etc. are automatically overtaken.
The basic module PLMsynchro can flexibly customized with the help of plugins.
The configuration divided in several process steps also allows an optimal customizing:
- Query / Download: PLMproxies
  
  Setting for the PLM-API, setting of various filters
- Conversion: CADproxies
  
  Specification of the CAD system for conversion of native files into the desired neutral format (e.g. STL, PARTJAVA).
- Import: Classimporter
  
  Import the attribute information to PARTsolutions, either into the project table (characteristic attribute table) or into the link database.
  
  Attribute information to be included or excluded can be specified here.

With the help of plugins and extensive configuration possibilities you can enhance your date with additional information, modify or filter it.

All native part information
With access to the PLM system all information available there (material, descriptions, etc.), depending on interface, possibly master data in addition
3D preview images are automatically generated and displayed in the characteristic attribute table.
Available dimensioning images, etc. can also be integrated.
A flat structure or a hierarchical structure of the source files can be displayed (according to class information from [PLM/ERP]).
Data can be available in different languages and be displayed in PARTsolutions depending on the set language.

For PLMsynchro operation with Capvidia the additional Capvidia license 3DTransVidia is required.
1. With the command cmd open a shell.
2. Execute the following command.
```
$CADENAS\libs\x86\64\custom\capvidia\registration.exe 3DTransVidia /change
```
  -> The dialog box 3DTransVidia Registration is opened.
3. With Request Key you can request a license key or if you already have a key, enter it under License Key and confirm with OK.
