[Note] Note

You can use Global text mapping to search on a large number of catalogs with little effort.

On the side of the CSV file, you can specify one or several columns, which contain the manufacturer article number.

On the side of PARTsolutions no column has to be specified, because ALL columns will be searched.[16]

In principle, Global text mapping works like the Article Number Search.

  1. Select the node Product Source.

Under Settings -> Catalog selection, click on the search button ....

Select the desired CSV catalog and confirm with OK.

  2. Select the node Global Text Match Filter.

    • Under PARTsolutions Catalog Selection, click on the search button ... and in the dialog box, move the catalogs to be searched from the left to the right via arrow key.

    • Under Field selection (concerning CSV file), click on the search button ... and in the dialog box, move the field containing the manufacturer article number from the left to the right via arrow key.

Now all needed settings are made.

  3. Click on the Start button to execute the pipeline.

-> In the docking window Performance, a respective message is displayed.

  4. Have a look on the result.

Depending on the quality of initial data you will find 100% hits and possible hits with less quality.

You could validate the 100% hits now and export them and then edit the remaining results with different methods.

[16] Classification of the column containing the manufacturer article number is planned. This will accelerate the process significantly.
