4.8.1.1. How can I download the selected CAD model and import it into the CAD system? (B2B and OEM portals)

  1. Make sure that the desired part is specified in the table view (and in the variable view if there are value range fields).

  2. Click on CAD download.

    -> The format selection dialog opens (max. 5).

  3. At the desired ones, activate the checkbox.[133]

  4. Click on Start Download.

    -> All activated formats are generated.

    Once the generation is finished, the part is displayed for download below.

    Furthermore the Browser dialog opens automatically. Here, you can specify the storage location.

    You can call the Browser dialog again by clicking on Download.

    [Note] Note

    When leaving the table view and loading a new part, the generated part is not available for downloading anymore.

  5. Temporarily save the attached ZIP file anywhere.

  6. Unpack the files with WINZIP or a similar program.

  7. Import the file into your CAD system.
