3.1.19.1.7. Level of Detail

All Standard parts are applied in 3 levels of detail.

  • High detail

  • Medium detail

  • Low detail

With the level of detail "low" your parts (especially large assemblies) are loaded much quicker. This is convenient during part search, for example, and it saves time. If you want to analyze a part in more detail, switch to "medium" or "high".

[Note] Note

This setting does not concern the export, but only the depiction in the 3D view. When exporting, always Level of Detail "high" is used.

Using the Detail button you can determine the Level of Detail of the part (assembly).

As soon as you have clicked on this button, the display changes in the 3D view.
