3.1.14.1.11. Buttons

You can also use reports for a cross-departmental communication for example.

In the opened report you have the following functions available:

Button Function
Search part...

This function is available for Duplicate search, Make or Buy report, Supplier search and Cost mockup.

Search for keyword, article number, material or release status. (With ERP the displayed columns depend on the current role.)

Preferably search with the setting Show parts .

By clicking on a search result you jump to the respective place in the report.

Note: With "Ctrl F" an input field for a keyword search on the opened page is opened.

Print A print preview is displayed with different view modes and an option for the print settings.
Open report folder (HTML)

The report folder is opened.

(All created reports are stored in the user directory under $CADENAS_USER\Reports\....)

Export

You can export the report in different formats.

Click on the little black arrow in the downright corner of the button.

-> A menu with the following options is opened:

  • HTML...

  • ZIP...

  • Send zip as Email

    Send the report as an email

    Send the report as an email

  • PDF...

  • CSV...

    The Export CSV dialog box opens.

    Determine the export path, the Separator and the Fields to export.

    Add a new line for each variable you want to be displayed in the CSV file via Add button. In into the individual columns in order to specify Variable type, Variable, Labeling and Unit via list field.

Close The dialog box is closed.
