In the index tree select a directory or project.

Note The generation time both depends on the size of the own parts pool to be searched and on the amount of supplier catalogs (directories) to be searched. In order to get a quick overview on the functionality best select a single own part and 2 or 3 supplier catalogs to be searched.

Under Extras menu -> Purchineering -> Find suppliers call up the command Create report....

-> The settings dialog opens.

You can search for suppliers via:

Under Threshold in % choose 70 for example.

In the search in following directories section select the desired catalogs, directories or subdirectories.

Confirm with OK.

Under Overview at first you see the Catalog overview.

Catalog overview: You can see the found parts at each catalog.

Click on Part overview.

In the part overview you see a matrix. It shows, which concrete parts have been found in which catalog.

Click on the button Go to search results.

You receive a listing of all matching comparison parts in the respective catalog.

Depending on whether you have searched for geometrical similarity or for reference statements in the settings dialog or both, now you can see information on norm number and/or Geom. Search at the found parts.
