1.7.3.3.3. Settings on directory level

Settings for subdirectories (without specified projects) is also possible.

Once a project within the given path is opened, the respective message is displayed.

Example: ALLOW_OLD=0

Example: ALLOW_OLD=0

In this way the administration or standardization department can block catalog subtrees for a specific reason or provide certain information (given in the key INFOTEXT).

Settings

As section name, insert the complete path, beginning with the catalog, down to the desired directory.

  • ALLOW_OLD = (Value range 0 or 1)

    • 0: All parts within the set path are displayed with the icon (if under TREEICONS the value '1' is set [see Section 1.7.3.3.1, “General settings”]).

      When opening the part, the following message is displayed:

      This part is marked as 'replaced' and 'locked' and will not be opened.

    • 1: When opening the part the following message is displayed:

      This part is marked as 'replaced'. Part will still be opened.

  • EXPORT_OLD = (Value range 0 or 1)

    • 0: When click the export button the following message is displayed:

      This part is said to be obsolete and may not exported by you.

    • 1: Part may be exported.

  • CREATENR_OLD = (Value range 0 or 1)

    If set on 1, the button Add dataset to link database is grayed out.

  • INFOTEXT: Below the standard message that text appears, which you inserted under INFOTEXT. Compare Fig. „Example: ALLOW_OLD=0“.
