The PARTsolutions standard parts are automatically checked into PRO.FILE and relocated to a PRO.FILE workflow status. The workflow status can be defined in the configuration file. (See key WORKFLOW_STATE_CREATE. However it must be available in PRO.FILE. Per default the interface uses the status "100", which should also be available as the default end status in PRO.FILE.

Local work directory

	The settings of the local working directory can be different from CAD to CAD.

The following comments correspond to the example Inventor:

For the PRO.FILE <-> Inventor connection it is necessary to have defined a local working directory which corresponds to the Inventor working directory. This directory must also be fittingly configured without the PARTsolutions installation so that the PRO.FILE <-> Inventor connection can function.

It is now necessary that all PARTsolutions parts are created in this directory. This requires the same directory to be entered for PARTsolutions as well. (see section Section 3.3.6.5, “Setting environment variables for CAD and PARTsolutions:”: environment variable DB_LOCAL_WORKDIR).

This directory must be set identically in three different places:
