3.3.6.9. Checking the function in the CAD system

Example Inventor:

Start Inventor and create a new assembly (iam) within a group project that fulfills the requirements as described under Section 3.3.6.4, “Settings within PRO.FILE”.

Start PARTsolutions from Inventor and export a part into the Inventor assembly. Now search for the new part in PRO.FILE. It should have been automatically inserted during export :

Save the entire assembly in PRO.FILE...

Now under Dokumentenverwendung, at the part created by CADENAS, that assembly has to be displayed, where the CADENAS part has been inserted. That means the part has been correctly linked with the assembly.

Check the created assembly in PRO.FILE. Now the integrated CADENAS standard part must be connected in the project with a different workflow status (no copy):

Repeat this test with a new assembly (iam) in a new project. Export the same part from PARTsolutions and save the Inventor project in PRO.FILE. The identical part must be used in the new project as well.
