3.2.1.6. Select release directory / Set up new share

You can either use a current release or set up a new one

Use existing release:

Click on Choose share and determine the server directory.

Set up release

Set up new share :

Click on the button Create new share.

	Note
	Set up shares only via installation program, NOT manually in the file system!

--> A dialog for defining a share directory opens up

Determine share directory

Via the Browse ... button, define the Share directory and under Name of the share enter the desired name.

Note

Shares can only be created on the installation computer itself. Otherwise you will receive the error message to the right.

Share could not be created.

When creating a share successfully, you will receive a confirmation message.

--> The share path has now been entered.

If you want to use the same share for both the PARTsolutions program data, the catalog data and the setup directory, you are now finished.

Otherwise, by activating the respective checkbox, you can set up your own shares for $CADENAS_DATA and $CADENAS_SETUP.
