Each folder and each project must have a preview picture. It has to be quadratic and must have 400x400 pixel. Bigger and smaller pictures are not valid. For folders, always a file named <catalog.png> must be implemented. The format has to be PNG and the depth of colors must be reduced to 8 Bit – in order to keep the total size of files low.

Primary the product pictures supplied by the contractor should be used. If the customer has no such pictures then the previews should be derivated from the created 3D-model. See Section 4.7.2.1.14.3, “ Generate image data/preview images ”.

PARTproject -> Project selection context menu -> Output -> Generate image data/preview images

Alternatively or additionally the customer can order Maxwell high-end rendering pictures (additional cost).
