If you click on a list entry which simultaneously corresponds to a layer in the drawing in the Included line styles field in the Line assignment folder, the corresponding drawing elements which are combined in this layer are highlighted in color in parallel with this.

However, you can also do the reverse and choose a drawing element with the mouse in the Preview. This is then highlighted in color and, at the same time, the corresponding entry is displayed automatically in the Included line styles field.

If you choose the Ignore associated elements option, all drawing elements in this layer are hidden in the Preview.

If you click on a drawing element in the Preview window, this drawing element is highlighted in color. This marking now allows you to assign the Line style and Line width in the pull-down menus.
