9.7.2.5. Save assembly

  1. Open the Explorer and create a folder configurator example in the directory .../PARTsolutions/23d-libs/.

  1. Select Save configuration in the Configurator menu.

  1. Save the project file under the name platte_schraube_cfg.prj in the directory .../PARTsolutions/23d-libs/ Folder configuratorexample.

  1. Create a conform assembly file (*.asy).

    --> The expressions given in Project name and Brief Description can later be found in the directory tree and in the 3-D preview.

  1. The window Assembly properties opens.

  1. The expression selected in the Description field is used as name for the top-level folder in the Configurator menu, as soon as the new plate_screw_cfg.prj is opened within Configurator .

    [Note] Note

    • Entries must be made at Author, Company and Description.

    • Leave the Standard name field empty. You can set a description in the CAD system.

      Exception: If the assembly will be used as a subassembly , a unique standard name must be assigned.

      General syntax:

      *$Formelname-des-Teils@Variable-aus-Teil

      Example

      *$G382001@BESTELLNR._$G382001@F1.$G382001@F2.*

  1. Confirm with OK.
