猪属（学名：Sus），哺乳纲偶蹄目猪科的一屬，杂食类动物，包括10種左右，產于歐亞大陸。其中野猪的分布最为广泛，家猪亦是其亚种。

家豬

主条目：家豬

家豬（Sus scrofa domesticus）是被人类驯化所形成的野猪亚种^[10]，相互交配可繁殖有生殖能力的下一代。外觀上，家豬獠牙很短、野豬長著明顯的長獠牙；家豬長肉的後半部佔身體75%以上，野豬的前後體各佔一半。家豬若野放，經過短短數代的天擇篩選之後，就會開始產生返祖現象，逐漸恢復為野豬的體型。

史前物种

李氏野猪（Sus lydekkeri）Zdansky，1928：生存于更新世中期，化石发现于华北至长江沿岸一带^[11]。
