3.1.11.5. Product view - Column definitions and symbols

In the following you can find information on meaning of single columns and used symbols.

  • Preview image:

When importing the CSV data a link to preview images can be given. (compare 5). If there is no preview image available a placeholder icon is displayed.

  • Quality (Colored bar with percent value)

    • Fixed percent values:

      • 100%: Unique assignment

      • 25%: Ambiguity (Meaning: At some variables more than one result has been found) -> A fixed percent value of 25 is displayed. (The number of matching parameters doesn't matter.)

      • 1%: Ambiguity (Meaning: At some variables more than one result has been found) AND for the variables to be compared one or more parameters cannot be found -> A fixed value of 1 is displayed. (The number of matching parameters doesn't matter.)

        [Note] Note

The case that parameters are not found can only occur if a variable has not been marked as a variant.

    • Other possible percent values:

      50%, 33%, 10%, etc.:

Example "50%": This percent value occurs if exactly two mappings are stated and one is not mapping AND the remaining parameter has no multiple hits. At two mappings 50% is subtracted for the not found parameter.

Example "33%": This percent value occurs if exactly three mappings are stated and only two of them are not matching AND the remaining parameter has no multiple hits. At three mappings 33% is subtracted for each not found parameter.

  • Type: There are two types: D for duplicate and V for variant.

    • D - Duplicate indicates an unique matching due to certain characteristics.

    • V - Variants are also members of the part family, but are not represented in the project table, however, can be saved in th the link database und thus can be displayed in the PARTdataManager table view.

  • Affinity:

    • 1: unique assignment

    • >1: ambiguous assignment

  • Status:

The attributes auto, default or valid can be displayed.

    • auto: The assignment occurs due to an automatic process such as Dimension search, Article Number Search, Attribute mapping, etc.

Via "Load predefined template" automatic processes can be chosen.

Via "Load predefined template" Via "Load predefined template" automatic processes can be chosen. automatic processes can be chosen.

    • default: The assignment occurs due to a manual process. (Compare Section 3.1.4, “Manual assignment”.)

    • valid: The value occurs at an explicit assignment via context menu command Change category to ... -> Valid performed on a product line (under Products).

  • Catalog: The PARTsolutions catalog where the assignment happened.

  • Product: The project path for example (in the case of a PARTsolutions catalog)

  • Second last column (varset): PARTsolutions values from value range columns and variable values.

  • Last column (varsetupdate): All other PARTsolutions values.
